David A. Couch is a Shareholder in the Grand Rapids Office with the law firm of Garan Lucow Miller, P.C.
Mr. Couch has extensive litigation experience in the areas of personal injury defense, Michigan No Fault defense, municipal defense, fire and property damage claims, fraud investigations, and insurance coverage disputes.
Mr. Couch serves as the General Liability Section Chair for the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel. He is also currently a member of the Executive Committee and past President of the Gerald R. Ford Chapter of American Inns of Court.
Mr. Couch was named by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star for both 2008 and 2009. He is involved with both the Federal Court Pro Bono Program and Legal Aid of Western Michigan through which he donates his time representing the interests of indigent clients.
Mr. Couch graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1997. During law school, he was the Outside Articles Editor of Law Review as well as an Executive Committee member of the Moot Court Board of Directors.
